Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you take x-rays? Dr. Plumlee takes x-rays when it is appropriately indicated and medically necessary after performing an exam. All x-rays that are ordered are taken at Baxter Regional Medical Center’s Radiology department. If you’ve had x-rays taken prior to your visit at our office, please bring those and/or the x-ray reports with you to your first appointment.
Are you against medications and surgeries? We understand medications and surgeries are sometimes necessary treatment options depending on the individual and the circumstances. We always support trying conservative and non-invasive care when appropriate. If you’re not responding to conservative treatment we are able to refer you to the proper medical professional. We are also always happy to work with any medical professionals you are already seeing in order to co-manage your care and give you the best health care available for you.
Do you have a table that is comfortable for pregnant women? Yes, the table in our office has a centerpiece that is able to drop up and down. Dr. Plumlee also has pregnancy pillows that allow the belly to be cradled while the patient can lay face down more comfortably.
